What we can help with

Wheelwise helps you make sense of auction vehicle data. If you’re buying a car for export, a rebuild project, or parts, the most important thing is clarity: what the vehicle is, how it was listed, and what is known from auction records. We can help you verify details and understand what is visible in photos and auction notes.

  • VIN lookup help: where to find the VIN, how to read basic VIN structure, and how to match it to listings.
  • Auction history questions: prior sale dates, listing consistency, and auction metadata when available.
  • Photos & condition: what’s visible in images, typical damage descriptions, and common auction terms.
  • Export & rebuild prep: what documents you may need and what to double-check before shipping or repairing.

How to get the fastest answer

Include any of the following in your message (only what you have):

  • VIN (17 characters) or the auction lot number
  • Make / model / year (as shown in the listing)
  • Auction name and sale date (if known)
  • What you want to confirm (price, damage, photos, history, trim/package, etc.)

FAQ

Do you provide official reports?

Wheelwise focuses on organizing auction data and helping you interpret what’s visible in listings. If you need official documents, we can point you to the right direction depending on the case.

What if I only have a photo or partial VIN?

Send what you have. A full 17-character VIN is best, but sometimes we can still help if you include make/model/year and any auction identifiers.

How accurate is the information?

Auction data can be incomplete or inconsistent. We do our best to reflect what is available and make it clear when something is missing or uncertain.
