Browse makes

Wheelwise lets you browse auction vehicles by make, model, year, and VIN. This page is the entry point to the make directory: select a manufacturer to see the models we currently track, then open a model to browse available years and individual vehicles.

Current coverage: 1,199 makes and approximately 462,880 indexed vehicles across our dataset. Counts next to each make show how many vehicles are currently indexed for that manufacturer.

What you can find on Wheelwise vehicle pages (when available): VIN, auction name and sale date, title status, damage categories, odometer text, engine/transmission fields, and photo galleries. Some auctions do not publish every attribute, so certain listings may have missing fields.

How to use this directory: start with a make (for example, Ford or Chevrolet), choose a model, then pick a year to see individual vehicles. From there, open VIN pages to compare trims, reported damage, and sale history across multiple auctions when the vehicle appears more than once.

Important: Wheelwise is a research and indexing tool. Always verify VIN, title status, and condition using official auction documents and inspections before purchasing or importing a vehicle.

Tip: if you are researching a specific vehicle, use the VIN pages for history and photo context, then cross-check with official auction documents before purchase.

These are the manufacturers with the highest number of indexed vehicles right now. Choosing one takes you to the model directory for that make, where you can continue to years and VIN pages.

FAQ

It’s a directory of manufacturers in the Wheelwise database. Clicking a make opens the model list for that manufacturer.

No. Counts reflect what is currently indexed. They change as new auction records are ingested and older entries are refreshed.

Some manufacturers appear less frequently in auction sources, or the available data for them is limited during a specific crawl/import cycle.

Not always. Photos and price-related fields depend on the source. Some auctions do not provide complete media or final bid information.
